Working Yoga respects and encourages diversity in its teachers.

We believe this enhances our ability to respond to the particular stress-management needs of our clients.

While all teachers focus on improving posture, each teacher has their own unique emphasis that has emerged from their training, teaching and life experience.

Working Yoga may also, at any given time,  have teachers other than those listed below.

Deborah Bell

Working Yoga Coordinator and Teacher

Deborah is a qualified massage therapist with a strong background in body-work and anatomy and physiology. She has been trained by Ruth Estelle (Working Yoga's creator) in a multi-level style and holds a teaching diploma from the IYTA (International Yoga Teachers' Association). She has been managing the behind the scenes coordination of Working Yoga since September 2007.

Loretta Voivodich


Loretta's focus is on precision and alignment and responding to the needs of each class she teaches. She has been teaching beginners' courses at a popular yoga school in the city and encourages an in-depth understanding of each pose from warm-up stage to advanced practice. She is a qualified teacher with the International Yoga Teachers' Association.


Shannan Davis


Shannan is the director of Lighthouse Yoga in Port Adelaide. She has had extensive training in yoga, posture and flexibility work and anatomy/physiology. Her classes are a dynamic combination of yoga and other body-work techniques such as Feldenkrais and Pilates.

Sallie Richards


Sallie has been formally trained in hatha yoga teaching and is a registered teacher with the IYTA. She teaches a range of classes including dedicated beginners' courses and can accommodate students of all levels. As well as her Working Yoga sessions, she teaches at Torrensville Yoga Studio. Sallie also works as a fitness trainer and has a particular interest in exercise for well-being.


Sue Fiedler


Sue's training has been with Pixie Lillas and Allan Goode of the Australian Iyengar Association. She values the precision, alignment and strength that the practice of postures brings. Her personal experience working within the corporate sector gives her a unique perspective on work related stress. Sue also teaches in a multi-level style to accommodate the diverse range of needs found in the corporate environment.
